We had a wonderful fall morning to shoot Maddie’s first birthday photos. It was a little chilly, but she was a trooper and all smiles the whole time.
It is such a pleasure to work with repeat clients, especially when they are also dear friends. I have had the opportunity to photograph Gary and Jessica’s maternity photos, their in home lifestyle session when Maddie was a newborn, and now Maddie’s first birthday. It is such a joy to document all these moments for such an adorable family!
We started with some outdoor portraits near their home, this way when we needed to warm up it was just a quick walk down the block. It also made for super easy outfit changes! We ended their session with an adorable cake smash in their living room.
Maddie was loving every moment. When you give a one year old cake for the first time, how can they not love it? She enjoyed the frosting most all. Especially when she got to smear it on daddy’s nose!
