About Me

Meet me, Heather. I'm the owner and lead photographer of Captured Perspective Photography. I shoot as the lead wedding photographer and edit all my own images! Since middle school I've aspired to be a photographer. Fast forward just a few years, and eventually I'd follow my childhood dreams. All while documenting all our journeys along the way!

Another fact about me, I LOVE travel. For years, grabbing my camera and taking photos was only a hobby. I've detailed our adventures frame by frame as we traveled, In other words, should I pack my bag just yet?! Some of my faves include Spain, Iceland or Turks + Caicos. Traveling is huge passion our family has together!

Following your dreams as a photographer takes A LOT of practice, patience (and failure). I started with pictures of our kiddos. Then, portraits of friends with their families...over and over again. While missing my family, I was shadowing mentors at weddings, constantly!

Soon, I discovered that my true passion was in wedding photography. The anticipation, the emotions, the preparation. ALL THE DETAILS. I loved everything about it! I couldn't wait to become a wedding photographer
