A Sunset to Remember: Engagement Photos on Marco Island
This past summer, I had the absolute joy of photographing Amber and Brent’s engagement photos on Marco Island, and wow—what a session it was. Just a few days before our shoot, Brent had surprised Amber with a romantic moonlight proposal. Naturally, a golden hour session on the beach was the perfect way to celebrate their exciting news.
Beautiful Weather + Pure Joy
From the moment we arrived, the weather couldn’t have been more ideal. The sun was glowing, the breeze was light, and the air was filled with that perfect salty, summer warmth. Amber and Brent were all smiles—and with that just-engaged energy radiating between them, their joy was contagious.

Why We Chose Tigertail Beach at Sunset
If you’ve ever walked out to Tigertail Beach before sunset, you know the journey takes a little effort—but trust me, it’s so worth it. This part of Marco Island is tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, especially on a summer evening. The lighter crowds meant no beach chairs, coolers, or towels cluttering the background—just golden skies and calm waves.
And for camera-shy couples? A quieter beach makes all the difference. Amber and Brent were able to relax, have fun, and simply enjoy the moment, which always makes for the most authentic photos.
Golden Hour Perfection
As the sun dipped lower, the light turned golden and dreamy—that kind of golden hour every photographer hopes for. Add in the soft ocean breeze and a laid-back “salty hair, don’t care” vibe, and we had all the ingredients for a perfect beach session.
Amber and Brent were natural in front of the camera, playful and affectionate, and totally in their element. It was such a joy to witness and document the beginning of their next chapter together.
