Wow! I had such an awesome time shooting Marin and Austin’s engagement photos in Vail, Colorado. Sometimes it is hard to convince clients that they should wake up at 3:30am to be to the mountains by 6:30am! However, when I threw out the idea that we should do a sunrise engagement session in Vail, Marin and Austin jumped at the opportunity. They even had time to stop and grab me Starbucks, I was forever grateful for the caffeine boost!
We started at the base of a trail while we waited for the sun to continue to show its beauty. It was brisk, but the air was calm and it was soooo incredibly quiet. The overall experience was perfect. We found some great rock formations, the twinkles of the sunlight in the camera lens, and some pops of color with the wildflowers.
Their engagement session turned out absolutely perfect. I was able to deliver so many different options, because we had so much flexibility at this Vail location. I can’t wait to see this couple when they tie the knot, as I am shoot their wedding in Vail in just a few months.
PS…if your considering a winter wedding in Colorado, they are amazing!!
