Downtown Denver, a Perfect Place for Your Urban Engagement Photos

Urban Downtown Denver Engagement Photos November 2021

I had the opportunity to work with Jack and Justine at the very last minute. They are both living on the East Coast. During this time, they have been in a long distance relationship (and now engagement) for the last several years! Jack and Justine both traveled to Denver in November for their urban engagement photos. This adorable couple also planned to check off some other wedding specifics as this is their last trip back to Denver before their wedding day. Lastly, they are planning their I-do's for May 2022 at the Lionsgate Event Center.

Last Minute Denver Engagement Photos

This was the ONLY weekend they could get their engagement photos taken since they both came from out of of state. They absolutely wanted their engagement photos in urban RiNO district of downtown Denver. They didn't plan visit Denver again until the week of their wedding. Everything was all set, and suddenly their wedding photographer (and engagement photographer) came down with COVID-19. The pandemic strikes again. Kelly had to quarantine and was unable to shoot their session. She reached out to me, and I was happy to help!

Pandemic Small Business Support!

The small business industry has really rallied together during the COVID-19 pandemic. For photographers in particular, we have all shown what community can truly mean. We have all worked together to help cover when other photographers have been unable. We all have a common goal. We want to keep the couples' dreams alive! Whether it be their wedding day, their Denver engagement photos, a bridal shower or a rehearsal dinner. The Denver Colorado photography community has really come together. Small businesses in the photography industry have put their clients first, for sure!

There is nothing worse than when you get "that news." But having a community of professionals all united together has made these situations so much more manageable. Captured Perspective has not only been committed to helping all of our own clients, but I have helped several other photographers when the pandemic has wrecked plans. It has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing people along the way. Both photographers in the community and new clients too.

I had the best time with working with Jack and Justin for their downtown Denver engagement photo session. Now even better. I get to shoot along side Kelly later this week as we capture their dream wedding. Choosing community over competition. May small businesses always win with this goal!

From Hand Painted Murals to a Luxury Bar Take a look at these Denver Engagement Photos

Take a look at their Urban engagement session. Justine had some must haves requests for their photos. I'd say they nailed it! First, she wanted tons of shots of her gorgeous engagement ring. (Not to mention her playful smile in all those shots.) Their other must have, was the vision of rustic urban Denver in while in a chic and glamorous wardrobe. That velvet red dress is KILLER! We wrapped up their session with a toast at their favorite downtown Denver bar.
