Private Ranch Wedding in Gill Colorado
This is all about Allie and Emmanuel's Colorado wedding that came with a twist! It all started a few years back when Allie and Emmanuel had a crazy dream. They would move away from the hustle and bustle of city life. They planned to buy enough land and start their very own ranch. Shortly after they came up with their crazy dream, this adorable city couple made it a reality. They packed up all their belongings and moved to Gill, Colorado. Allie and Emmanuel are now the proud owners of Little Legs Ranch (a goat ranch) and couldn't be more happy. What they didn't plan when buying their ranch, was to someday host their own Colorado wedding on their property!
When I initially met Emmanuel and Allie they had just booked their dream destination wedding in Kauai, Hawaii. This wedding day was going to be about as awesome as the day Allie got her first goats! (For those who don't know Allie, that day was one of the best! Ha Ha) I absolutely couldn't wait to photograph their Hawaii destination wedding. It was going to be breathtaking. Tying the knot in Colorado wasn't even a thought. Let alone hosting their own wedding at their private ranch. Hawaii had always been their dream and we were going to make it happen!
All the Wedding Day Details Were Coming Together
Allie was having a custom swimming-suit + wedding gown made. The waterfall ceremony plans were all set. The reception specifics were coming together. Plane tickets were booked + hotel reservations were made. Kauai here we come...or not. The pandemic crushed the dreams of yet another wonderful couple.
As we slowly watched things continue to unravel. The unfortunate reality came true. Allie and Emmanuel had to cancel their Kauai destination wedding. Now, when will they get married? What venue will they use for their new wedding day?! After reviewing the details over and over again. It only made sense. Hosting their wedding at Little Legs Ranch was the greatest option ever.
Over the next few months, Allie and Emmanuel re-planned their entire wedding, again. Not to mention all the extra time they spent prepping their property. They also built the majority of their own wedding decor. Including that gorgeous wood arch in the top image. Isn't it stunning? The interior of their home continues to boast the most authentic and lovely touches that they created together. Now, their private ranch and their home was about to host some of the most beautiful memories to date!
Getting ready in your own master suite, there is nothing better!
On their wedding day Allie was able to get ready in her very own master suite. Their house is just exquisite. Amongst the interior, Emmanuel and Allie have done many projects together to make their farm house truly unique. This power couple has so much going for them. I can't wait to see what they do next! Many of us have said, hosting family weddings at their Colorado ranch should be must! Their own was so perfect.
