Fall Maternity Portrait Session | Lafayette Colorado Maternity Photographer | Hall Family

I have had so much enjoyment as I continue to photograph this lovely! I first met the Hall family when they were pregnant with their first daughter. It is such a pleasure to work with repeat clients, I love watch families grown and change over the years. This time we shot their fall maternity portrait session and next week I will be joining them in their family home. We plan to photograph their newest addition and capture some updated family portraits as their family will then be four strong.
When I met up with the Hall family at their favorite spot in Lafayette the wind was whipping like crazy. We were all worried if we could still get the session done. But the light, it was perfect so we had to try. Luckily we are all familiar with this location at Waneka Lake and we took shelter while taking advantage of the golden sunshine.
Their daughter has grown up so much over the years, and her eyes are gorgeous. Being a “boy mom” its so fun to see little girls get up dressed up for these sessions. She was the perfect model.
This year Colorado was “robbed” of its fall beauty a little earlier than any of us would like to admit. I am happy to say I had the opportunity to shoot this session as well as a beautiful wedding. Now let’s just hope that doesn’t mean we are in for an extra long winter!!
