The Greenbriar Inn; One of Boulder Colorado’s top Wedding Destinations

Some wedding days are filled with so much love and joy that you can truly feel it in every moment—and Hannah + Logan’s day at the Greenbriar Inn in Boulder, CO was exactly that. As their Boulder wedding photographer, I had the honor of capturing not just their love story. But the true warmth of a family and community who surrounded them with endless support.

Our Extra Personal Connection

This wedding felt extra special for me because, I first met Hannah a few years ago. This was when her parents previously hired me for their family portraits. To be invited back, to document Hannah's wedding day, was such an incredible honor—it really feels like this journey as a photographer is coming full circle. As I always hoped it would! Sharing all these memories, year after year, that is what makes photography extra special.

A Perfect Day at the Greenbriar Inn

The Greenbriar Inn has the perfect getting ready space, it has so much natural light! That in it's self is a photographer's dream. Then Hannah's sister brought an extra large full length mirror. It was the perfect addition to this quaint space.

Nestled just outside of Boulder, the Greenbriar Inn provided a picturesque setting for Logan and Hannah's wedding celebration. With beautiful weather, peak-a-boo mountain views, and soft golden light, the day could not have been more perfect.

Heartfelt Moments

One of the other happily emotional moments of Logan and Hannah's day was during the toasts. Hannah’s sister, Audrey, shared a heartwarming speech that had everyone in tears.

In her elementary years, she shared how, while other's in her classroom wrote about their hero's. Almost all noted the ones in capes. For Audrey, Hannah was absolutely her number one hero and biggest fan. With tears streaming down both of their faces. They celebrated! And that raw moment, it was indeed one for the heart! The the reason I love this job so much!

Hannah's father, Jim, continued with another speech later that evening. His words too, radiated straight from the heart. So much love and pride. Grateful to welcome Logan along in their family journey.

While Jim spoke, he shared also shared a quick moment of both Hannah and Audrey’s story from China. How his daughters were adopted from different orphanages at different times. As well as how, adoption agencies had once indicated that bonding in such circumstances could be very difficult—but this family. They have always done it with such ease, grace, and unconditional love. Witnessing that bond firsthand was inspiring and incredibly touching. It has been an honor to have met such an inspiring family. These are the moments.

Joy, Laughter, and Dancing

The entire day overflowed with happiness, from the vows to the laughter shared between family and friends. The night ended in the best way possible—with Hannah and Logan’s perfectly choreographed first dance. Huge smiles lit up the room, and the joy was contagious.
